Tips & Tricks
ADD to EVERY WASHLOAD
Add Biz to every wash to boost the cleaning power and help remove your toughest stains.
To Use - Measure and add Biz to the wash water with detergent. No need to add Chlorine Bleach! For your toughest loads, also substitute Biz for your detergent.
Biz is safe for all of your colorfast washables and Biz is safe when hand-washing delicate fabrics.
PRE-TREATING with POWDER FORMULA
Spot treat those really down deep spots with a concentrated paste. It's as easy as:
Step 1 - Mix Biz powder with a small amount of water until a thick paste forms.
Step 2 - Spread mixture over stain until completely covered.
Step 3 - Wash as usual with Biz and detergent.
PRE-TREATING with LIQUID FORMULA
For stubborn stains and extra dingy clothes.
Step 1 - Apply Biz directly to stain.
Step 2 - Rub in gently. Wait 3-5 minutes. Do NOT allow it to dry on fabric.
Step 3 - Wash as usual with Biz and detergent.
PRE-SOAKING
Step 1 - In a bucket, activate Biz by dissolving one cup of Biz in one gallon of warm water.
Step 2 - Soak for 30 minutes to remove most stains. If necessary, soak overnight. Biz will remain active and continue to work on the stain. Wash as usual.
COLORFASTNESS TESTS
Don't worry! Biz can be used on garments labeled "No Bleach" or "No Chlorine Bleach." If a label says "No Bleach" or "No Chlorine Bleach," just test for colorfastness before washing.
COLORFASTNESS TEST with POWDER
Step 1 - Dissolve two tablespoons of Biz in 1 cup warm water. Soak a hidden area of the garment for 20 minutes, rinse and air dry.
Step 2 - Compare with the rest of the garment. If no change occurred, wash as usual with Biz and detergent.
COLORFASTNESS TEST with LIQUID
Step 1 - Apply a drop of Biz on hidden area of garment. Let garment stand for 5 minutes.
Step 2 - Compare with the rest of the garment. If no change occurred, wash as usual with Biz and detergent.
HE MACHINES
Biz works well in High Efficiency (HE) washing machines but the correct dose depends on the machine. The correct does is the amount that maximizes the suds in the wash without causing suds to spill from the machine or causing too much sudsing in the rinse cycle. This is usually a lower dose than is used in a conventional machine.
Step 1 - On your first use of Biz in your HE machine, cut normal dose of Biz by half.
Step 2 - Observe suds level during wash. For next load, adjust the dose to the desired suds level.
Step 3 - Once determined, use this dose for future loads.
